- there are two version,
1. the main AUCTeX site give me 11.89[1]
2. GNU elpa has 11.89.7[2]
It seem more logical to use the latter, but it will change the source
of the
Package: auctex
Version: 11.87-3+deb8u1
Severity: wishlist
11.87 is several years old, the current version is 11.89.5.

P.S. Emacs' debian-bug had problems with generating the error report. I
hope I've managed to correct it by hand.
