Package: ptpd Version: 2.3.1-debian1-1 Upon fresh installation, ptpd does exactly nothing. Even the explicit command "/etc/init.d/ptpd start" is not sufficient to get the daemon started. This is not what I expected. I would expect that installation of package ptpd suffices to get daemon ptpd
