Package: Alarm-clock-applet
I have been using alarm-clock-applet for a long while. Since moving, last week, from Jessie to Stretch, the alarm does not make any sound. In other respects the applet behaves as it has always done: a small window pops up and the panel icon changes colour. Sound works all right otherwise, at least in VLC.
