Hello Gabriel + Olaf, in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=763599 (Nov. 2016) I found a solution for connection problems to Windows 2008 R2 (disconnect: Invalid licensing message). A newer version solved the problem. After this we got crash to connect to older Windows 2003 R2

Package: rdesktop Version: 1.8.3-2+b1 Severity: normal When I try to connect with rdesktop in a windows server 2008, the terminal say: " Failed to negotiate protocol, retrying with plain RDP." This bug happened in the begining of jessie, but has a workaround installing the ubuntu package
