Dearest Maintainer,

The packaged version of Alpine does not want to write to .pinerc if that
file already exists as a symlink (it writes happily if the symlinked
file is copied to the ~/.pinerc location).

This causes a bit of friction when upgrading, as the `last-version-used`
variable never gets incremented, so the cheerful "Welcome to the Brave
New Version of Alpine World" dialog gets shown on every launch.

This problem has be reported and apparently fixed upstream (I haven't
tested that patch, but could do so on request):

Not sure if it's known, but upstream is up to 2.20.999 (!). It looks
like source package releases stopped at 2.20, and new versions are just
bumped in the git repo:
