Source: opendkim Version: 2.11.0~alpha-9 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, I already opened a ticket on a this issue but there was a misunderstanding and I open it again with new arguments. The problem is with the service file /lib/systemd/system/opendkim.service. The line below is wrong to me. ExecStart=/usr/sbin/opendkim -P /var/run/opendkim/opendkim.pid -p local:/var/run/opendkim/opendkim.sock It is wrong because it specifies the socket with the -p option. The problem is that it overrides any specification in the config file. I tried to set a different socket in my /etc/opendkim.conf: Socket inet:12301@localhost With the default service file, the inet socket is not opened. If I replace the line above with the one below, it is opened. ExecStart=/usr/sbin/opendkim -P /var/run/opendkim/opendkim.pid Thanks for fixing this. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
