Package: bitlbee
Version: 3.5.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I've installed bitlbee. It appears to run and I can connect using a irc
client to the localhost.

Once connected I type 'help'
and receive the response ' : 05/12/17 14:23 No channel to send to'

No commands appear to work, response is the same for everything.
