are you aware that this change currently renders ansible uninstallable on new
systems? (i.e. where ansible previously has not been installed)
$ sudo apt install [--allow-downgrades] ansible

A fix for 2.3 stable is being worked on:
https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/28238
We could simply wait until it's released.
On the other hand, a hotfix for testing with the pinned dependency may
be a good idea in the meantime.

should a go ahead and patch, build and upload a version of ansible that
depends on python-jinja2 < 2.9 (only this change)?
