Package: fuse3
Version: 3.4.1-1
Severity: important
Dear maintainer,
I still cannot co-install fuse3/3.4.1-1 and fuse/2.9.9-1 .
gnome-core (depends on ?gvfs? (depends on fuse)) got removed when I'm
trying to install fuse3.
I packaged sshfs 3.5.1 for myself and used it for a while. The

I don't think a transition is needed, now that fuse and fuse3 are
co-installable. The packages that can migrate to fuse3 could do
I guess sshfs 3.X is hopeless for Buster.
Because there is no any related transition on the tracker.
And fuse3 breaks gnome-core.
Anyone who cannot wait for the official package could try mine:
https://salsa.debian.org/lumin/sshfs-fuse (3.5.1)
Any news on this?

Hi,
libfuse3 is now available in Debian - so hopefully SSHFS 3 can follow before
the freeze :-).

Hey Nikolaus,
Nope. There's no other blockers for that. As soon as we get libfuse 3.x
in Debian I will update sshfs to the most recent version.
For now I was just able to update sshfs to 2.10.

Dear Maintainer,
Apart from the required libfuse 3.x not yet being in Debian, is there
anything that would prevent updating the package to the most recent
sshfs version?
Thanks!
