LFS fixes have been in mpgrafic upstream since 0.3.11: https://anonscm.debian.org/git/debian-astro/packages/mpgrafic.git/tree/ChangeLog
2017-07-30 boud * v0.3.11 - LFS: AC_SYS_LARGEFILE added to configure.ac, but int64_t retained in parallel_io.c rather than replacing it by off_t, because ISO C binding (c_off_t) does not seem to be standard;
So it seems to me that the i386 case is a false positive.
