and I have previously packaged AusweisApp2 for openSUSE [1].

Hello Martin,
it's about two years ago while I was trying to convince Governikus Gmbh
to open the source for that application. This conversion was not really
user friendly and I gave up on that quickly.
But well, it seems in between the German government has changed their
mind on that. Definitely
