Package: kwrite Version: 16.08.3 I am running KWrite on Debian 9 "Stretch". When I open a text file and spell check a document, the first time the spell check panel appears at the bottom of the window and I can correct words or add them to my dictionary. However, if I close the spell check panel, edit the file and then run spell check again, the panel does not become visible, making it impossible to spell check again.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open KWrite. Load any text file. 2. Run spell check tool from Tools menu. 3. Close spell check panel. 4. Edit document, or close document and open a new text file. 5. Select spell check option from Tools menu. 6. Spell check panel does not become visible. Reproducible: Every time on my system. Workaround: Close KWrite. Relaunch KWrite and open a text document. The first time spell check is invoked the panel appears. KWrite needs to be shut down and relaunched each time the user wants to perform spell check.
