Package: i2pd
Version: 2.17.0-1
Severity: serious
Justification: programs must support baseline arch (w/o a good reason otherwise)

Hi!
I'm afraid that current version of i2pd crashes on startup on processors
that don't support avx and aes, unless the package was built on a machine
without such support (the build system does _compile time_ detection).

The in-archive binary package 2.17.0-1:amd64 is ok as it was built on such a
processor (in fact, the very same machine I'm testing on). Alas, this is not
the case for :i386 (and presumably :x32), which crashes on daemon's startup:

[37476.565483] traps: i2pd[14112] trap invalid opcode ip:565aeb9d sp:ffd6c0a0
error:0 in i2pd[56578000+292000]

A rebuild of :amd64 (binNMU, new source-only upload, Ubuntu, ...) would also
crash this way.

Meow!
