Hi,
The salt projects provides additional global disutils options. These
options needs to be specified before the command, e.g.
./setup.py --salt-state-dir=/var/lib/salt install
Otherwise the command will fail, e.g.
$ ./setup.py install --salt-state-dir=/var/lib/salt
usage: setup.py [global_opts] cmd1 [cmd1_opts] [cmd2 [cmd2_opts] ...]
or: setup.py --help [cmd1 cmd2 ...]
or: setup.py --help-commands
or: setup.py cmd --help
error: option --salt-state-dir not recognized
Please allow specifying global options.
