Package: policycoreutils-dev Version: 2.6-3 Severity: important Tags: patch upstream
Dear Maintainer, running sepolgen may cause an exception, since it uses types that were apparently removed from python 3. For me, sepolgen only crashed when I had binutils installed, so this does not render it completely useless. It may further depend on the type of policy being generated and the binary being analysed. Other uses of sepolicy may or may not be affected. I simply did not check a lot of the background for this bug. A patch is available: https://www.spinics.net/lists/selinux/msg23967.html The other patches in this thread seem sensible, too, but I did not have issues without them. All of them are accepted upstream. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686)
