added i386 architecture to an amd64 system to add packages so that I could 
compile wine32. Too complicated. Gave up. Tried to remove the i386 packages. 
Would not remove. Hangs at removing gir1.2-ibus-1.0:amd64 and i386. Breaks the 
dselect package management system, aptitude, etc.  apt-get still works?

Tried hack on internet in the postinst file of the deb package. Added i386 
after package name. Did not work.

This is the error report at the end of an apt-get install process.
