Looking at the contents of this package and libdevmapper1.02.1, it seems that the pkgconfig files are pointing directly to the files in /lib/x64-linux-gnu (or similar for other architectures) instead of those in /usr/lib/.... I am probably being pedantic but shouldn't libdir be pointing to location of libdevmapper.so or libdevmapper-event.so and not just libdevmapper.so.1.02.1 or libdevmapper-event.so.1.02.1? Since the packages seem to work fine as is, I am tagging this as a minor bug.
