Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal The version in unstable takes too much time to maintain, cannot possibly bring all upstream features, and is years behind upstream. Newer versions require building a java GUI which, when I last checked, worked only with shipped 3rd-party jars, and would not work with latest versions of said libs.
People willing to use TAU despite the latter problem are better off installing it themselves.
