Package: debmake-doc
Version: 1.7-2
Severity: minor

Hi,

I primarily use Debian stable and develop in schroots, LXCs, or VMs.
Would you please consider providing a stretch-backport of debmake-doc?
Given that the Debian New Maintainer's Guide is depreciated, I believe
this is going to become more important.

Alternatively, I'd be happy to backport it and keep an eye on my
Developer Dashboard... If necessary I could also do bpos for
debian-policy and developers-reference.

Thanks!
Nicholas
