Bug#916947: linux-image-4.18.0-0.bpo.3-amd64: Can't get image/audio output from external monitor when the maximum resolution is set (1920x1080) (HDMI)

I don't own this laptop anymore.  I don't see anything productive about having this bug open in debian, since there's a few reports about this matter in kernel and freedesktop's bugzilla.
