I performed a shutdown and then did a new boot. I then logged into a GNOME session and ran the following in GNOME Terminal. Note that the uCode/Intel messages are not relevant on this system as it is running an AMD Phenom II X3 720 Processor. $ sudo needrestart -v [main] eval
