Package: synaptic
Followup-For: Bug #927155
What type of voodoo do I have to do on reportbug in order to get this bug
closed? I pressed "yes" when reportbug asked me if the bug still exists in
v0.84.8, like I did last time, and yet the bug is still open.

Just a confirmation that the bug is fixed now, so that the debian bug tracker
can close it.

I think it is time to close this bug. After all, it was not synaptic to blame
but zenity.
I opened the real bug report on zenity, in #942362.
Thank you

I agree, "idiotic" is a bit too much for what I wanted to say but english is
not my mother tongue and I wanted something a bit more "strict" than "stupid"
or "dumb".
I will use stupid for the new bug report
Thank you :)

Now that synaptic was updated to 0.84.7 and it no longer pulls zenity as a
dependency, its dependencies have dropped to the minimal ones, so this issue
can be closed.
I will open a new one on zenity, because its dependencies remain stupid.
