We're currently regenerating the upstream Configure script during every build and checking that the result matches the version we actually use. It would be good to do this in an autopkgtest check too, so that any changes in for instance the dist package that cause a regression here would be caught by the testing migration checks. -- Niko Tyni nt...@debian.org
