Package: olive-editor Version: 20190502-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? After installing version 20190502-2 of the olive-editor package I found that the program failed to play the audio for any media loaded. In addition the audio level meters were missing in the program's interface. The debugging info provided from running the program indicated that there was an error with configuring the audio interface when the program started: 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [DEBUG] using qt5ct plugin 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [WARNING] libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [INFO] Initializing custom cursors 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [INFO] Finished initializing custom cursors 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [INFO] Initializing icons 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [INFO] Finished initializing icons 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [INFO] Initializing effects... 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [DEBUG] D-Bus global menu: no 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [WARNING] Audio format is not supported by backend, using nearest 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [WARNING] using null output device, none available 2019-07-19T22:56:20 [WARNING] Received nullptr audio device. I installed the libqt5multimedia5-plugins package which provide the multimedia plugins needed by Qt programs. * What was the outcome of this action? The program can now play the audio for loaded media files. Also the audio level meters are now visible in the program's interface. * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (200, 'testing'), (100, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages olive-editor depends on: ii ffmpeg 7:4.1.3-1 ii frei0r-plugins 1.6.1-2 ii libavcodec58 7:4.1.3-1 ii libavfilter7 7:4.1.3-1 ii libavformat58 7:4.1.3-1 ii libavutil56 7:4.1.3-1 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libgcc1 1:8.3.0-6 ii libgl1 1.1.0-1 ii libqt5core5a 5.11.3+dfsg1-1 ii libqt5gui5 5.11.3+dfsg1-1 ii libqt5multimedia5 5.11.3-2 ii libqt5network5 5.11.3+dfsg1-1 ii libqt5svg5 5.11.3-2 ii libqt5widgets5 5.11.3+dfsg1-1 ii libstdc++6 8.3.0-6 ii libswresample3 7:4.1.3-1 ii libswscale5 7:4.1.3-1 olive-editor recommends no packages. olive-editor suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
