Package: biboumi Version: 8.3-1+b1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I installed biboumi and created a config by modifying the provided example but initally it failed to start, exiting with status 1. On investigation this was found to be apparently due to missing directories, /var/lib/biboumi and /var/log/biboumi being the likely objections. On creating these directories with the correct permissions, biboumi could be started. I think this may be an oversight in the package. Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages biboumi depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii libbotan-2-9 2.9.0-2 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libexpat1 2.2.6-2 ii libgcc1 1:8.3.0-6 ii libidn11 1.33-2.2 ii libpq5 11.4-1 ii libsqlite3-0 3.27.2-3 ii libstdc++6 8.3.0-6 ii libsystemd0 241-5 ii libudns0 0.4-1+b1 ii libuuid1 2.33.1-0.1 biboumi recommends no packages. biboumi suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
