Package: pocl-opencl-icd Version: 1.3-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I am a fairly heavy user of POCL, and upon upgrading the package to version 1.3-2, I noticed that some CI runs (e.g. this one [1]) showed failures that look like miscompilations. These do not occur with version 1.2-5. (To make sure I got valid results, I deleted all compiler caches before each trial.) Upon building my own POCL (a11ce0099123d) against LLVM 7 and 8, these miscompilations disappeared. So, at least based on this limited data, it appears that there is some issue that surfaces when using POCL 1.3 with LLVM 6. It would be fantastic if you could update the package to a more recent version of LLVM. And thanks for your maintainership of POCL in Debian!
