(And be extra careful when introducing new dependencies of essential packages in the future.) (Fixing #851747 would be even better.) I'm not sure why you added the dependency but since it's a versioned dependency a guess might be that you didn't want an older version, so maybe you wanted to use Conflicts or Breaks: lsb-base (<< 11~) Regards, Andreas Henriksson
