Package: maildir-utils
Version: 1.4-1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

There were some significant changes in mu 1.4 that changed the
location of the per-user email databases. Some mu4e options that used
to be runtime-configurable (e.g. the maildir location and the user's
email address) were also moved into being part of these
databases. Upstream suggests reinitializing the databases, and the
user may wish to do so taking into account those configuration
options.

Since failure to do so may leave the user with a non-functioning mu4e,
it would perhaps be nice to include a notice of these changes in the
NEWS for the package.

The release notes [1] have more information.
