I have no objection to the removal request #1050361 being closed without
action, but please don't treat #967622 as equivalent to a removal
request. mangler *does* depend on GTK 2 and gtkmm2.4 - that's just a
fact - and it's going to be much easier to keep track of how much GTK 2
is left in the archive if we keep the bug reports around.

(I'm listed as a maintainer for at least one GTK 2 package myself, gmpc,
and I have no plan to remove that during the trixie cycle and probably
too many other things on my list to upgrade it to GTK 3 this cycle either;
so its bug stays open.)

If there are no plans to either remove mangler or upgrade it to GTK 3
any time soon, perhaps you could take #967622 off your radar by tagging
it wontfix, rather than by closing it?
