Dear Ryan, thank you for the bug report: wminput does segfault when it is called.
I tried to modify the source to get rid of the build warnings, which in fact should be reported as errors. It appears to be a tough task, since many warnings are about unapropriate pointer casts, due to the mix of python2 and python3 concepts. I shall try to get some help from the last upstream developer who touched this software in source form.
