Thanks for pointing out to the fix and providing an MR, I have also
replied there.
I removed the "fixed" tag as it doesn't apply to this situation, I
believe "pending" would be more appropriate. I'm gonna test the fix
and upload if everything

Thanks for the bugreport,
I've bumped the requirements to make it work with 3.38 but the
extension fails to load with:
$ sudo journalctl /usr/bin/gnome-shell | grep screencast
