df is supposed to hide pseudo-filesystems by default but it seems to show the udev pseudo-filesystem by default. Presumably the list of pseudo-filesystem types needs to be synced from the Linux kernel. $ df | head -n2 Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on udev 3.8G 0 3.8G 0% /dev -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing-debug APT policy: (900, 'testing-debug'), (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable-debug'), (800, 'unstable'), (790, 'buildd-unstable'), (700, 'experimental-debug'), (700, 'experimental'), (690, 'buildd-experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.8.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages coreutils depends on: ii libacl1 2.2.53-8 ii libattr1 1:2.4.48-5 ii libc6 2.31-3 ii libgmp10 2:6.2.0+dfsg-6 ii libselinux1 3.1-2+b1 coreutils recommends no packages. coreutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
