Followup-For: Bug #966508
Package: openjdk-11-jre
Version: 11.0.9+11-1~deb10u1

Package: openjdk-11-jre
Version: 11.0.8+10

Hello Maintainer,
I have first saw evidence of this bug when a file called
hs_err_pid20947.log (attached) appeared in my ~/Home folder. I'm
not too sure, but I think the log occurred during a system update. Then, I
noticed a website needing JavaScript was not loading properly. I read the .log
file, and noticed this line:

Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (11.0.8+10-post-Debian-1deb10u1, mixed mode,
sharing, tiered, compressed oops, g1 gc, linux-amd64)

So, thinking VirtualBox might have to do with it some-how, I removed
VirtualBox-6.1, then auto-removed the packages and purged VirtualBox-6.1. I
think this did the trick, the site loaded up good; no reboot needed either. In
total, I got rid of:

_________________________________
virtualbox-6.1 gir1.2-ibus-1.0 ibus ibus-clutter ibus-gtk ibus-gtk3 im-config
libclutter-imcontext-0.1-0 libclutter-imcontext-0.1-bin libibus-1.0-5
libqt5opengl5 libsdl-ttf2.0-0 libxcb-xtest0 linux-headers-4.19.0-10-amd64
linux-headers-4.19.0-10-common linux-headers-amd64 linux-image-4.19.0-10-amd64

If I'm on to something, then perhaps this bug lies in how openjdk-11 interacts with the virtual machine packages; I know some of them go pretty deep
into the system. It's my first bug report, but I hope in proves
helpful so we can fix the problem.

Best Regards,

Chris Trimble
