Following up on parsinsert failing to build from source on POWER
64 bits little endian on Debian Testing, I found out that
reducing the compiler optimization level to -O1 allows the test
suite to pass.
The affected configuration is Debian 11 at Testing stage,

running its test suite - which results in errors for a view architectures.

there is a bug[1] report filed against the Debian packaged version of
ParsInsert. The full build log for ppc64el can be found here[2]. The
problem is also present for other architectures like
