While I'm still waiting for you "ip a" output to continue debugging this, I'd like to to test the one line patch which I'm going to add on next version, this should solve the hotplugged interfaces getting an IPv6 address like you explained here and also on #980752 which I have now reassigned to bridge-utils, I've sent the patch to that bug not to mix more stuff here, but yo were saying...
