it was actually me (the PHP maintainer) who asked Olaf to fill the issue.
Thanks for the lengthy suggestion, I’ll sieve it through.
It actually does affect every stable to next stable upgrade, so it’s not only
external repositories problem. And I was bit struggling on how to solve
