After some investigation I found that I had version 2021.02.04.1 at
/usr/bin/youtube-dl installed using apt,
and version 2021.02.10 /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl installed using curl.
Then:
$ sudo rm /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl
$ sudo apt purge python-is-python3
$ sudo apt purge youtube-dl
