The test "busybox ip >/dev/null 2>&1;" doesn't appear to ever be true and
the busybox gateway code is skipped whether or not busybox is installed and
it would work.

"busybox ip route list >/dev/null 2>&1;" does work as well as "busybox true
>/dev/null 2>&1;"

I tried this both within a docker container and outside.

Updating that line to either busybox ip route or busybox true got things
working.
