The example script for setting up the grub config fails for a software raid setup in a virtual environment when using grub-pc. In scipts/GRUB_PC/10-setup the variable mbrdevices is set to + mbrdevices+=', ' Error message: + mbrdevices=', ' + echo 'grub-pc grub-pc/install_devices multiselect , ' + unshare --pid --fork --kill-child --mount-proc chroot /target debconf-set-selections + unshare --pid --fork --kill-child --mount-proc chroot /target dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc /, does not exist, so cannot grub-install to it! You must correct your GRUB install devices before proceeding:
