Package: debian-installer
Version: 10.7-10.10

Hello,

from all the version the only one that does automatic partitioning correctly - configures the right size of swap partition, is version 10.6.

I have tested every single newer release of debian on my hardware:
Dell Latitude E7470, 14' 2560x1440, i5-6300U, 7869MiB RAM

..every single time the partitioner ended up assigning 1 GB of swap space to my device. Both for LVM (encrypted and unencrypted) and the guided while installing the entire disk for the installation.

So after every single installation I ended up returning to 10.6-live-nonfree and ten upgrading the system because that's the only way to configure my machine properly by assigning it 8.5 GB of space for the swap partition.

Please find out what's causing this issue. With new incoming versions there surely will be glitches in terms of graphical appearance as a result from upgrading nearly a year old buster 10.6 version to anything that will be released in the future days.

Sincerely Yours,

debian user701
