Here is the error message as raised by sphinx:

self.builder.warn(str(err))
AttributeError: 'StandaloneHTMLBuilder' object has no attribute 'warn'
This issue only scrambles an error message output and is mostly
just annoying.
It appears that sphinx has dropped support for builder.warn().
plantuml should be updated accordingly.
I believe this has been fixed upstream by plantuml commit
