As it turns out, the not a system group bug has resurfaced. I'm not sure
which version did it, but it is a problem in 1.5.3.4870-7. A fresh install
resulted in this config:

I'm not using this package, and it reportedly does not work with 2.6
kernels. It's been in RFA state for almost a year, with no takers.
(One NM contacted me, but never prepared a fixed package for

Tonight's testing upgrade seems to fix this bug. I can now run ssh-add
/dev/null without getting wnck-applet to take 100% CPU.
libwnck-common and libwnck18 have been upgraded from 2.14.0 to 2.14.2-1.

On startup, k3b resets my CD drives, and does not detect them.
I'm not sure why the reset is happening. I can't imagine any reason
why you would be doing this on purpose, so maybe it is a bug? Anyway,

I don't think this (very old) bug exists anymore. I'm running KDE
3.5.3 now, and Nimbus Sans L seems to be working fine.
I have no idea when it was fixed. I switched to Bitstream Vera as a
workaround to this bug, and have never switched back.

I have just noticed that the patch discussed above appears to be
included in the Debian linux-source-2.6.16 package.
So it would likely be quite easy to fix in etch, if that hasn't
already been done.
