I haven't discuss this with the rest of the team yet but I think they
are willing of helping with this.

The main problem is that Asterisk is team maintained and nobody in
the team (except you at the moment) seems to care about a save version
of asterisk in stable and oldstable. The security team itself is not
able to support the package on its own and thus has to depend on the
respective maintainers.

I don't think that it serves our users to not provide security support
for asterisk, especially considering its popularity.

The question is what is better:

. stale version of Asterisk with local and remote vulnerabilities
   in Debian stable, OR

. no version of Asterisk in Debian stable at all

Moritz preference is the second.

Bug#437897:

2007-08-18 Thread Andres Mejia
retitle 437897 New version of no-ip released (2.1.6)
thanks

I have packaged the new version of no-ip (noip-2.1.6) from upstream.

I honestly didn't know this package was in Debian. I was looking for a
package which had either the source name which is noip or the binary
name which is noip2. I didn't think of looking for any package named
no-ip.

The changes that I've made are as follows.

  [ Andres Mejia ]
   * New release of noip-2.1.6 packaged.
   * Closing bug 437897 (Closes: 437897)
+ Didn't realize that a package for no-ip existed (was looking for noip or
noip2 which reflected upstream source name or binary name.
+ This will also mean the whole package was remade from scratch.
   * Build depends on debhelper (= 5), po-debconf, and quilt now.
   * Patch is modified to use /etc/noip2.conf to reflect package name.
   * Using debconf for configuration (Closes: 328842)
 + Added ${misc:Depends} for debconf.
 + Added po-debconf support.
   * Added postrm script to remove configuration data file when removing
 package.
   * Will use logcheck.ignore.
   * Will adapt init script used upstream for distribution with Debian.
+ Script that is used will be under debian/noip2.init.
   * Renamed binary package from no-ip to noip2 to reflect binary that is made.
+ Added a Provides: no-ip line for less confusion.
   * Using description from previous releases in debian/control.
   * Changed compat from 4 to 5.

I suspect this is related to the fact that the string returned from

init switches runlevel and is not quite correct the entire rcS.d run
because it is read-only when the rcS.d starts. No idea how to avoid

I stumbled upon this while trying to make vim compatible based on the

Yes I wasn't suggesting that we don't fix it in stable, but rather that a
fix was available and had been uploaded to Debian (unstable). The BTS
supports version tracking and even though the bug maybe closed, these
security issues are still listed as open for asterisk in etch.

Of course if we have a way of testing the fix in unstable is is valid
  that's even better.

Of course fixing the plethora of security fixes against asterisk 1.2 is an
issue and a fair amount of work. Whilst digium continues to provide
  supported
releases of 1.2.x with bug fixes, by rights we should be only taking
the diff's and applying them to debian stable via the debian security team,
  which
  is a job in itself.

We are maintaining uptodate asterisk 1.2 packages built against stable
  (etch) via
http://buildserver.net, but that is using the latest asterisk 1.2 upstream
release and isn't a suitable security fix for upload to stable. (but would
  be a lot
less work and would get the fixes into stable v.quickly)

security team. This is an issue, we (pkg-voip) are aware we are well behind
  the
curve on this, but were wondering if you have any ideas on a way to better
  manage?

For Etch we need to bite the bullet and continue to support it (see my
 previous
mail to Faidon), but with the current strain of vulnerabilities (19 in 2007
 alone!)
we can't support it for Lenny again. In some cases we need to accept
 notoriously
error-prone packages because they are terribly important (like PHP and
 Linux), but
we can't do that for Asterisk.

Somewhat I have expected this. So it's good we're discussing this now. ;)
To start, yes I feel that backporting fixes is a large burden. We can
help, but with this amount of vulnerabilities it's very teadious. So
working around it is surely the preferred choice.

For Lenny I see three solutions: (in order of my personal preferrence)
 1. Move it to volatile.debian.org and support it through builds of the
 current Digium
maintenance release

Definitively good choice.

 2. Drop it from stable and support it out of the archive through builds of
 the current
Digium maintenance release

May come even a bit handier for the pkg-voip team, as that _could_ mean
supporting through pkg-voip.buildserver.net (which is in fact generated
with no extra work required from the developers).

 3. For Lenny we'll most likely have a way to flag packages not having
 security support
(see #436161). So, it could be included in Lenny w/o security support.
 There might
still be use cases, e.g. a company-wide internal PBX.

Well, in that case it seems to me as good as just dropping asterisk from Debian
which would be an inconvenience to our users. Therefor I'd welcome
options 1 or 2. As stated if you agree that 2. solves the problem, I
think we can go with that.

 Comments?

If the rest of pkg-voip developers agrees, i'll just put up a pseudo
RC-bug against asterisk to make sure it's not progressing into testing
anymore (and therefore not contained in stable release of Lenny and
newer).

Bug#438560: vim -C isn't compatible

Thanks, but this does not solve the bug as the manpage of vim (without
-tiny) states that vim -C is compatible whereas it is not. Some change
has to be done. (Easiest might be changing the manpage.)

 Hi,

please upgrade to the latest version (2:2.1.0-2). If the bug is still
there, send the output of '/usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg-core/script 31'
to the bug address (if you had used reportbug to file this bug, this
 would have been included automatically).

Ping?
Did you have a chance to test with 2:2.1.0-2 (currently in testing) or
better with 2:2.1.1-1 (currently in unstable)?
If it still doesn't work, please send what Julien requested above.

Bug#438562: jedstate doesn't work on AMD64

2007-08-18 Thread Paul Boekholt
2007/8/17, Marc-Jano Knopp [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
 Package: jedstate
 Version: 0.5.4.transitional.1-5
 Severity: important

jedstate doesn't work at all on AMD64. With the same recent_db, jedstate
on a i386 Lenny box works perfectly, while on an AMD64 Lenny box, it
 does not.

GDBM files are not portable - see also
http://lists.debian.org/debian-amd64/2006/05/msg00023.html
If you start with a new gdbm file, do you still have problems?

Using strace, I noticed that (with the recent_db that worked flawlessly
on i386) jedstate on AMD64 at least sometimes uses absurdly high file
 offsets:

   lseek(3, 70368744194048, SEEK_SET) = -1 EINVAL (Invalid argument)

The jedstate package has two perl scripts. What did you strace? Does
the gdbmrecent s-lang script work?

Please don't file bugs against all lintian warnings unless you have a
patch; maintainers can consult such warnings easily already:

http://lintian.debian.org/reports/mGuilherme_de_S._Pastore.html#gnome_screensaver

And they also get the warnings when they build packages and run

There are far too many missing manpages to report individual bugs:

So unless you patch, please don't report each individual warning.

Bug#438611: [unmetdepds] cecilia has unmet dependancies

2007-08-18 Thread Cesare Tirabassi
Package: cecilia
Version: 2.0.5-2
Severity: important

cecilia (2.0.5-2) is a gui for csound, written in Tcl/Tk and as such
built for architecture:all and dependant on csound.
Last csound version has however dropped support for 64 bits
architectures:

csound (1:4.23f13-1.1) unstable; urgency=high
.
.
.
  * Drop alpha, ia64, and amd64 from the package architecture list,
because
this version of csound makes many 32-bit assumptions that render the
package unusable. Closes: #414660.
.
.
.

Therefore either the cecilia architecture: all or the dependancy on
csound should be changed to reflect this or it will cause unmet
dependancies on 64 bits architectures.

Bug#438586: Workaround/Fix Re: Bug#438586: libc6 upgrade renders etch unusable

2007-08-18 Thread Nathan O. Siemers

Hello Aurelien,

The only thing I had done up to that point was to run:

apt-get update; apt-get upgrade

within the chroot environment. libc6 was one of the packages that was
on the list to upgrade at that time. The install failed which left me
in the state below.

I now have a fix/workaround:
Upgrading libc6 on the Parent x86_64 distribution
 followed by a reboot
then reinstall of libc6 withing the 32 bit chroot

repairs the 32 bit system and now all is well.

So it seems that the system (kernel?) did not like the mix of libcs
on the system? I have to think about why this would be a problem, as
the architectures are of course different.

Thanks for your quick responses. I still regard this as a bug, but
no longer critical as the workaround is straightforward (once you see
the terror of a libc upgrade hosing one system and bite the bullet and
run the same install on another ;) )

Bug#436327: A potential fix

2007-08-18 Thread Kumar Appaiah
Hi!

I think looking at sdl-mixer1.2's #434303 could help. It's got a GPL'd
awe_voice.h file which I tried with python-oss, and it works! The
FTBFS is there for the same reason.

HTH.

Bug#438612: zim: internal links don't work

2007-08-18 Thread Martintxo
Package: zim
Version: 0.19-1
Severity: normal

I find that, after a few usages of zim, the wiki internal links stops
working on my box. It's so strange, so I can't see any difference between the
previous behaviour and the following (wrong) one.

I was tweaking my config (the ~/.config/zim/ files, and the ~/repositorie/
files), and finally I found a workarround:

In my ~/repositorie/ dir I have the .zim.cache and .zim.history.cache files.
If I delete this files, a new ones are created when I start zim, and now the
links works well the whole session.

So now, I starts zim as following;
zim 'masnotas' Home sleep 2 rm /home/martintxo/zim2/.*cache

In this maner, after a zim usage, the 2 cache files are deleted and in the
next ussage the bug don't appears :-D.

Mybe the problem is in my config :-?.

That's all. Greetings. Martintxo.

Bug#406766: Cacti plugin architecture

2007-08-18 Thread Dennis Devriendt
could you be more specific on what you mean by quite significant
changes?
not counting the official patches from cacti.net, the version in
unstable
only differs by 9 lines or so.

I didn't look very well in this, but because you made some changes to the
structure of the cacti directory (split it in resources and site and moved a
part of
the configuration to /etc/cacti), you can't patch with the plugin
architecture.

i'm not against adding it, though i don't have a lot of time to evaluate
it
either. since this is a third party patch (though there's lots of
reference
to it in official cacti documentation) i'd like to hear from one of the
main
cacti devs about what they think of it as well. of course if someone
helped
out to lessen my workload on either of these fronts (providing a patch
and/or
contacting the upstream author) it would certainly help things along.

I have very little experience with php, nor with package maintaining,
but I will contact the cacti authors about this. I'll let you know what
they think about it.

Greets,
Dennis

Kilian,

I don't agree with keeping asterisk out of lenny permanently, I think we
should wait until closer to the lenny release and then make that decision.
In the event that asterisk 1.4.x is stable and in maintenance fixes upstream,
then I see no reason why it should be excluded from lenny.

Asterisk 1.2.x is a different beast, and etch was released with the current
asterisk 1.2.x then we could maintain, via upstream security releases. But etch
was released with an early asterisk 1.2, and that is what we have to work with.
I can see an argument for asterisk 1.2.x being removed from etch. We need to
either:

1. Continue/ start to backporting security fixes from 1.2.x, or
2. Remove asterisk 1.2.x from etch, and/or
3. Track upstream 1.2.x security releases, via volatile or just direct
our users to pkg-voip.buildserver.net for etch packages.

For lenny, I recommend we get ftp-master to force the removal of
asterisk 1.2.x, it FTBFS, it has vulnerabilities etc. In the meantime, I
think it is suitable for asterisk 1.4 to migrate to lenny via unstable
per the normal rules. As vulnerabilities are discovered we publish the
fix into unstable and migrate according to the two/five day rules.

As the /etc/inetd file still specifies that the service should be run as

me that this directory should be created and used.

Bug#438616: powertop sugests the unavailabel package 'laptop_mode'

Package: powertop
Version: 1.7~svn-r227-2

Some days ago I noticed that the package 'powertop' suggests the package
'laptop_mode' which is not available via apt.

There is a program called 'laptop_mode' which is included in the package
'laptop-mode-tools', thus I think it might be possible that the
suggestion mentioned above was the result of a typo and should be
corrected to 'laptop-mode-tools'.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux Lenny, kernel 2.6.18-4-686 and libc6 2.6-2,
libncursesw5 5.6+20070716-1.

Bug#438617: linux-image-2.6-ixp4xx: Still depends on vulnerable kernel image linux-image-2.6.18-4*

2007-08-18 Thread -
Package: linux-image-2.6-ixp4xx
Version: 2.6.18+6
Severity: important

This is basically the same as bug 438325 but for arm (ipx4xx).
It's been two days since 438325 was closed, and while the i386
page on packages.debian.org shows the updated package, the ipx4xx
page does not, so maybe it slipped through the cracks. If it's just
that ARM packages are uploaded after the 4.0r1 release announcement,
then I'm sorry to waste your time.
 vs http://packages.debian.org/stable/admin/linux-image-2.6-686)

This kernel package still depends on the 2.6.18-4-* image,
so the updated 2.6.18-5-* is not pulled in with apt-get.

Cheers

Bug#438619: xserver-xorg-video-intel: resets brightness to maximum upon chvt

2007-08-18 Thread Alexandre Rossi
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.1.1-1
Severity: normal

Since the upgrade to 2:2.1.1-1, LCD brightness is set to the maximum when
switching to a virtual console or from a virtual console back to X.

I use the sony-laptop module on vanilla kernel 2.6.22 to set the brightness on
my laptop.

# cat /sys/class/backlight/sony/actual_brightness
0
# chvt 1
(coming back using CTRL+ALT+F7)
# cat /sys/class/backlight/sony/actual_brightness
50
(and screen is very bright)

Same behavior when playing a video (mplayer -vo xv or -vo x11) :
$ cat /sys/class/backlight/sony/actual_brightness
0
$ mplayer some_video.mpeg
$ cat /sys/class/backlight/sony/actual_brightness
50
(and screen is very bright)

Fixing the problem until the next chvt or the next video playback :
# echo 1 /sys/class/backlight/sony/brightness

Downgrading to xserver-xorg-video-intel (2:2.1.0-2) fixes the problem.

Cheers,

Alex

No, loading this module does not create /proc/acpi/sony .

Hmmm, that's a shame. I'll have a look into where the sony_acpi module
 comes from then.

There turns out to be a module named sonypi in Debian, which is supposed
to be an older sony ACPI support module. Does it work if you load that
module first?

Bug#438620: bookmarks not saved upon close

Package: gajim

Hi,
The Group Chat bookmarks are not saved in Gajim after the session is
closed. Also, the first time we try to add a bookmark, the fileds are
not activated by default and we can't edit the added bookmark unless
we close the window and try again.

Thanks

Andreas Degert [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

xdvi wants to use xdvi.bin which is not included in the package.
Symlinking from xdvi.bin to xdvi-xaw.bin in /usr/bin makes it work.

The symlink is supposed to go this way:

/usr/bin/xdvi.bin - /etc/alternatives/xdvi.bin
/etc/alternatives/xdvi.bin - /usr/bin/xdvi-xaw.bin

(unless you have one of the far-eastern language support packages
installed), and these symlinks are generated by update-alternatives.
What is the output on your system of

update-alternatives --display xdvi.bin

Bug#438603: Fails to build with python 2.5

2007-08-18 Thread Stefano Zacchiroli

thanks

On Sat, Aug 18, 2007 at 10:46:38AM +0200, Reinhard Tartler wrote:
We already discussed this on the mailinglist, I think, but I'm filing

Uhm ... I don't remember the discussion ...

 find a buildlog attached.

Background: I use TarFile to access data.tar.gz and control.tar.gz which
are inside a .deb, considered as an ar archive.

It seems that in python2.5 they fixed a bug in the TarFile class; the
fix triggers a bug in DebFile. What is actually changed from 2.4 to 2.5
is the name of file members of a tar(.gz) archive.

In Python 2.4:

   d.control.tgz().getnames()
  ['./', 'control']

In Python 2.5:

   d.control.tgz().getnames()
  ['./', './control']

More generally (i.e. for tar archives with more than 2 members, as it is
the case for data.tar.gz for example) it seems that the heading './'
string in 2.4 was only present on the first archive member (or maybe
only on directories? don't know ...), while now it is present in all
members.

The Python 2.5 implementation seems to be the right one, or at least it
agrees with tar tzf:

  $ tar tzf control.tar.gz
  ./
  ./control

The assumption that the './' was *not* there is used in various places
(mainly in DebFile methods which are just proxies to the appropriate
TarFile instance). The fix needs also to take into account that the
behaviour would be different if the module is used by Python pre-2.5 or
not :-(

I'll try to figure out a not-completely-awful solution for this ...

Cheers.

Bug#438426: xserver-xorg-video-i810: Suspend to RAM doesn't work

2007-08-18 Thread Norbert Sendetzky
Hi Brice

Please reinstall this buggy version and send the whole output of
 /usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg/script 31

Like promised, please find attached the output after reinstalling version
2:2.1.0-2. The screen remained black and the X server didn't reacted to
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. This time the X process didn't occupy all CPU recources
but as soon as I've tried to attach gdb to the process, it did.

As an interesting side notice, I've also tested STR while only using the
console (in normal and recovery mode). In both cases, the screen also
remained black but I could enter commands (like reboot) which were executed.
Maybe the problem is a combination of a kernel driver and the X i810 driver.
I'm using kernel 2.6.18-4 as 2.6.21 crashes immediately after wakup from STR.

The main problem is that Asterisk is team maintained and nobody in
the team (except you at the moment) seems to care about a save version
of asterisk in stable and oldstable. The security team itself is not
able to support the package on its own and thus has to depend on the
 respective maintainers.
Right. FWIW, you can count on me for security updates, even if the rest
of the team doesn't change their minds wrt security fixes.

Since you have no previous grounds to trust me on this though, I'd
propose to postpone this discussion closer to the release of lenny so
you can have some hard facts regarding my (our?) responsiveness or
carelessness.

Is that acceptable to you (you being security@)?

I don't think that it serves our users to not provide security support
for asterisk, especially considering its popularity.

The question is what is better:

. stale version of Asterisk with local and remote vulnerabilities
in Debian stable, OR

. no version of Asterisk in Debian stable at all

 Moritz preference is the second.
If it comes to that, I definitely agree with this.

Bug#438565: initial processing feature, minor fixes

2007-08-18 Thread Bernhard R. Link
package inoticoming
tags 438565 + pending
thanks

* Robert Edmonds [EMAIL PROTECTED] [070817 22:34]:
It would be nice if inoticoming could perform its actions against files
already existing in the monitored directory when it starts, so I've
coded such a feature and attached a diff.

I like this. Added. Though a bit differently implemented.
- no need to make things more complex and portable, when inotify is yet
quite linux only, thus just using d_type in dirent instead of stat
 calls.
- opening the directory before daemonisation, as it might be relative.

The patch also updates the syntax() function to match the man page.

Yeah, that I always forget...

I also noticed that the man page states Note that since it is a well-
behaved daemon, its working directory is / which will be inherited by
all actions, but in fact the daemon never invokes chdir(/); so I
 added such a call.

AFAIK daemon(false,...) should always make that call, and from my tests
it also always does so.

Thanks again,
Bernhard R. Link

a2enmod selects cgid if a threaded mpm is installed, as is recommended

 I didn't want cgid.*, I wanted cgi.* !!

Probably you just thought you wanted cgi, but you really wanted cgid.
Or what reason would you have to use cgi instead?

Bug#429631: Call for volunteers for Bugzilla (was: Re: Status of Bugzilla v3.0 for Debian)

2007-08-18 Thread Alexis Sukrieh
* Raphael Bossek ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) :
what is your timeline for Bugzilla v3.0 ? I would very mutch appreciate
 the new release in testing.

Hi,

I've been maintaining Bugzilla since sarge is released. It's a lot of
work when you're alone on such a volatile piece of software, moreover
when upstream releases oftenly new major versions.

It used to work as I had enough freetime to deal with it, but I must
admit I can't keep bugzilla in a good shape by my own now. Mostly because
my debian time is used for other packages.

I was intending to orphan bugzilla but decided to open the
maintenance to others, if that's possible. If not, I guess I'll have to
orphan it for real.

Hence, I'm sending this call for volunteers. If you like to join me and
help me packaging bugzilla 3 for debian, you're welcome.

The IRC chan #debian-webapps is there for coordination, the list
[EMAIL PROTECTED] can be used too.

Bugzilla sources are handeld in Alioth's svn repo:
svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/srv/svn.debian.org/svn/webapps-common/packages/bugzilla

The package is already officially maintained by the Debian Webapps Team
(I put myself as an uploader in my last upload).

I suppose one or two volunteers would be enough to deal correctly with
the package.

So if you're interested feel free to join. Note that debian/bugzilla
users are also welcome to join the IRC chan, that can be helpful for
testing upcoming packages.

Regards,

Bug#438630: Check for small age difference between childern.

2007-08-18 Thread Kurt Roeckx
Package: gramps
Severity: wishlist

The Tools-Utilities-Verify the database has all kinds of very useful
checks. I wish the request a new check.

I've just seen a case where the difference between the birth date of 2
childern of the same women is only 3 months. This seems rather small,
and it's very likely that one of them is wrong. It would be nice if it
could also generate a warning on that.

Bug#438631: =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Spurious(?) I/O error?= s at end of CD-R

2007-08-18 Thread sebastian . leske
Package: cdck
Version: 0.6.0-1

If I use cdck to verify a CD-R or CD-RW, it reports unreadable sectors
at the end of the disc for several discs which are perfectly
readable (I even verified MD5 sums for one disc).

Log:
iota:~$ cdck
Reading sectors 1-27280
! unable to read sector 27259, reason: Input/output error
[...all sectors in between with same message...]
! unable to read sector 27280, reason: Input/output error

CD overall:
Sectors total: 27280:
Good sectors: 27258:
Bad sectors (incl. with poor timing): 22
CD timings:
Minimal = 5 usec (0.05s)
Maximal = 99340 usec (0.099340s)
Average = 1161 usec (0.001161s)

Conclusion:
Disc contains BAD or even readable sectors, put it into trash can!

This occured for several discs. The number of bad sectors reported
varies from 14 to 24, but it is always the last sectors.

Maybe cdck incorrectly detects the end of a CD?

I also tried a real, pressed CD from retail: The problem did not occur.

additional info-

Here are excerpted logs for some CDs I tested. They were burnt on
different drives. I also included the volume size as reported by isoinfo
-d (the line Volume size is:). Strangely, it does not agree
with what cdck reports.

CD-R, burnt on Windows:
Reading sectors 1-197640

! unable to read sector 197640, reason: Input/output error

a2enmod selects cgid if a threaded mpm is installed, as is recommended
by upstream. Starting with 2.2.3-5, it even handles mpm-itk correctly
and tells you what it is doing ;-)

  I didn't want cgid.*, I wanted cgi.* !!

Probably you just thought you wanted cgi, but you really wanted cgid.
Or what reason would you have to use cgi instead?

It's because I'm using mpm-itk, and it didn't seem to work with cgid. I
admit not investigating if it should, though. But it does work with cgi,
after I symlinked it in manually.

What kind of special handling does it do with mpm-itk in 2.2.3-5?

Bug#408862: Status of the German debconf translation

2007-08-18 Thread Helge Kreutzmann
Hello,
is there any update regarding the German debconf translation? If you
need help including it, don't hesitate to ask me or on
debian-i18n. Since including a Debconf translation is rather
non-disruptive it would be great if you could prepare an upload.

Thanks!

Greetings

This software doesn't really need a man page. Anyone, feel free to
write a man page, reopen the bug, and submit your man page to the bug.

The Policy Manual chapter 12 says:

# If no manual page is available, this is considered as a bug and should be
# reported to the Debian Bug Tracking System (the maintainer of the package
# is allowed to write this bug report themselves, if they so desire). Do not
# close the bug report until a proper man page is available.

That's pretty unambiguous. This bug shouldn't have been closed.

Bug#418500: No function after libc6 upgrade

2007-08-18 Thread Alexander Onic

Hi, here's a new one.

In etch I upgraded the libc6 last night:
[UPGRADE] libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 - 2.3.6.ds1-13etch2

Since then pam_mysql doesn't work at all. Similar log as earlier.

authdaemond: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib/security/pam_mysql.so)
authdaemond: PAM [dlerror: /lib/libpthread.so.0: symbol _h_errno,
version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file

libc.so.6 with link time reference]
authdaemond: PAM adding faulty module: /lib/security/pam_mysql.so

I believe it is still a pam_mysql issue, not a libc one.

What do I have to do to help this bug getting fixed?
I want this bug fixed, really!!

Bug#438635: firmware loading fails, likely missing condition negation

2007-08-18 Thread Mirko Parthey
Package: hostap-utils
Version: 0.4.0-1
Tags: patch

While trying to load firmware into a prism card's RAM, I noticed that
the if-pre-up script does nothing because of a FALSE condition.
I suspect that the results of grep'ing for no_pri=1 and pri_only=1
 should be logically negated.

Mirko
