Yes, installing cups-bsd fixed the printing for me.
Anyway, whatever the preferred fix, I think that the severity of this bug
should be grave, because a viewer that cannot print is unusable in my
opinion.

The version on hackage is 1.1.0, while the one in Debian is 1.0.3.2.
More serious is that it's uninstallable due to relying on GHC 6.8.
