I am still experiencing this problem with libc6 2.9-10. I first saw it
in 2.9-4. 2.9-6 fixed it. It broke again with 2.9-9 and the upgrade to
2.9-10 did not help. The opendns work-around does work for me (but I
really don't want to use opendns).

libmtp8 seems to be the issue. I removed that

that my 'build:' target is dependent on build-arch and build-indep targets (as
generated by dh_make when I started with the project). When pbuilder invokes
