Hi,
I'm interested to get back this package, but I'd like to have some more
information on how to proceed.
Thank you
Dear Maintainer,
as a workaround I have the package libglib2.0-0 is set in version 2.36.4-1 to
HOLD so that they will not be updated with a system update (apt-get dist-

Please remove libtest-mockclass-perl from the archive. It build-depends on
libtest-simpleunit-perl which we want to drop because it is abandoned upstream,
has an RC bug (#711617) and libtest-mockclass-perl is its only
reverse-dependency.

Please remove libtest-simpleunit-perl. It is abandoned upstream and has an RC
bug (#711617). It has 6 popcon votes.
The only reverse-dependency is libtest-mockclass-perl, for which I filed an RM
request already (#720487).
Thanks,

A codesearch for gd-renderer:
http://codesearch.debian.net/search?q=gd-renderer
reveals that it has been removed with version 1.5.9-1 to close #477364.
Currently it is absent in all three current versions:
Could it be that you use a proxy? If so, that is probably #717891.
You will have to get a newer apt package manually in that case.
Otherwise, the output of
apt-get update -o Debug::pkgAcquire::http=1
might be interesting to see the problem.
Best regards

After updating the apt-database from downloaded local files (wget
worked). I ran into the very same problem with apt-get upgrade:
# apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
The following packages will be upgraded:
binutils cpp-4.8 g++-4.8

I can only assume that this was a confusion and that the comment
applied to a different package. I'm raising this bug to RC now and will
file a removal request for both libtest-simpleunit-perl and
libtest-mockclass-perl in one week unless
