The sources from Maven did neither contain the *.profile nor .properties

looks like the cmake build system works, while the automake doesn't (see the
mir github issue).
The cmake switch might probably need some tweaks in libraries naming, but
nothing unfeasible.

That seems to be a reasonable choice. Right now Android apps are simply not
supposed to use Java 9+.
But for how long will JDK8 be supported in Debian? I don't want this package be
a burden of any
