Hi Laszlo, yes, removing frag_deflator thread will reduce the CPU usage. But on the other hand it allows reproducible-builds of the squashfs image. mksquashfs spawns $cpus * (frad_thrd, deflator) threads. Before it also spawned $cpus * frag_deflator, but this work is now done by the main thread.
