How about integrating it with the Policy's chapter 5 (thus enlarging its

normal Policy change process is useful for this document.

Bug#656305: bug description imprecise

2012-05-19 Thread J. Woch

The given bug description is missing some important bits; it should be:

/The exclude-Option doesn't always have the expected effect, e.g. it
contains the expression */temp/* as default.
Nevertheless, backintime backs up the path /usr/import/store*/temp*.
After manually adding the expression /usr/import/store*/temp* in the

Bug#673505: general: xorg and xserver-xorg 7.6+13 always made X and gnome-shell dead

2012-05-19 Thread Xueqian
Package: general
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Recently, I have upgrade packages xorg, xserver-xorg, xserver-xorg-input-all
and
x11-common from 7.6+12 to 7.6+13.

After that, my desktop environment was always dead that cpu of X became 70% and
cpu of gnome-shell occupy the other 30%.
And I had to forcely shutdown the X service and re-type startx to start the
gnome-shell.
The reason that I observed to make X dead is mainly due to using ibus
and operating browsers that includes firefox 12, iceweasel 10, and google
chrome.
I did not observe that other operating or software result in the same problem.

Since more than half of my gnome packages are version 3.4, while some are
version 3.2, as well as gnome-shell and gnome-shell-extension.

Thus, I do not know whether the problem results from gnome-shell or xorg.
The reason that I report the title relevant to xorg is that I found sometimes
the xorg info showed some bugs Gdk-WARNING: x-session-manager: Fatal IO error
11 on X server: 0.#012 and sometimes related to kbd (I can not find the error
info now.)

Thanks

Bug#673437: virtualbox-guest-x11: 3d acceleration broken

2012-05-19 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Felix Geyer debfx-...@fobos.de (18/05/2012):
You say you are running version 4.1.14 of the guest extensions but the
package list says 4.1.12. Which one is correct?

Since this last minute RC bug blocked the X.org transition from
happening, I've flagged virtualbox for removal from testing. Once
versioning info is sorted out (ie. if that wasn't actually a regression
from testing), or once a fix is available, virtualbox should come back
into testing on its own with no need for manual intervention.

Feel free to contact me anyway, if you have questions or need actions.

Thanks a lot for your help!
I was asked to bring OIIO in Debian to have Cycles support in Blender
and I have to admit I used almost all of your work in PPA's OIIO package
in Ubuntu because it was well done... and ready. ;-)

As soon as I'll be able to prepare a new revision (or even better, a new
upstream release since 1.0.4 is out now), I'll upload the library with
new manpages.

Exactly. My first intent was to auto-generate them in build process, but
then I found they were very poor in contents. So kept yours, leaving that
b-deps for possible future changes.

Thanks a lot for your efforts in helping with OIIO.

Bug#673506: ufraw-batch: output path ignored in batch mode

2012-05-19 Thread Ian Zimmerman
Package: ufraw-batch
Version: 0.18-1.1+b2
Severity: normal

The web User Guide for ufraw says:

By default, the output path is the same as the input path. If you want
to save a batch of images to a non-default path, use the Remember output
path option.

So I tried it:

 [88+1]converted$ pwd

 [89+1]converted$ cat crw_4997.ufraw
?xml version=1.0 encoding=utf-8?

InputFilename/home/itz/image/MtVision-test/crw_4997.dng/InputFilename
OutputFilename/home/itz/image/MtVision-test/converted/crw_4997.tif/OutputFilename
OutputPath/home/itz/image/MtVision-test/converted/OutputPath

[... lots elided ...]

 [90+1]converted$ cat ~/.ufrawrc
?xml version=1.0 encoding=utf-8?
UFRaw Version='7'
OutputPath/home/itz/image/MtVision-test/converted/OutputPath
Histogram2/Histogram
BlinkOverUnder0/BlinkOverUnder
RememberOutputPath1/RememberOutputPath

[ ... lots elided ... ]

but it doesn't work:

 [91+1]converted$ ufraw-batch --conf=crw_4997.ufraw ../*.dng
ufraw-batch: Loaded ../crw_4997.dng [1/48]
ufraw-batch: Saved /home/itz/image/MtVision-test/crw_4997.tif [1/48]
ufraw-batch: Loaded ../crw_4998.dng [2/48]
ufraw-batch: Saved /home/itz/image/MtVision-test/crw_4998.tif [2/48]
ufraw-batch: Loaded ../crw_4999.dng [3/48]
ufraw-batch: Saved /home/itz/image/MtVision-test/crw_4999.tif [3/48]
ufraw-batch: Loaded ../crw_5000.dng [4/48]

ie. it saves them in the source directory anyway.

I tried reopening the .ufraw file with the GUI ufraw and actually
converting the file from there, and that does the right thing.

I have now documented the Contents indices and the diffs
as well, mostly (sans the exact format we use for the
patches), and Translation indices. Now we're basically
only missing details, it is fairly complete otherwise
(i.e. we should have mentioned every file and field
currently in use, but may not have explained all of
 them completely).

 We now have documented

   dists/$DIST/Release (and InRelease, Release.gpg)
   dists/$DIST/$COMP/binary-$ARCH/Packages
   dists/$DIST/$COMP/source/Sources
   dists/$DIST/$COMP/Contents-$ARCH.gz
   dists/$DIST/$COMP/i18n/{Index,Translation-*.bz2}
   *.diff/Index *.diff/%Y-%m-%d-%H%M.%S.gz

The other Release files have been omitted, as they are not
used anywhere. We are only missing udeb content files and
packages files now, which are just small subsentences.

In a few months, I'd like to rework this in DocBook form,
and submit it to debian-policy for inclusion into official
 Policy, as a sub-policy like copyright-format.

This describes repositories of the form

deb uri suite component [...]

There should be a mention of flat repositories of the form

deb url path/

This changes nothing for the contents of files but it does change their
location and I think it's worth mentioning how that sources.list entry
maps to a repository.

Goswin

Bug#673507: clusterssh: migration of ~/.csshrc to ~/.clusterssh/* not working as expected

2012-05-19 Thread Raphaël Hertzog
Package: clusterssh
Version: 4.01.01-2
Severity: normal

After upgrade of clusterssh, I started having this message that ~/.csshrc
was useless and that I should read documentation and remove that file.

Unfortunately the documentation has not been updated (man page still
refers to ~/.csshrc...) and it took me a while to find out about
~/.clusterssh/{config,clusters}.

But even after having removed ~/.csshrc, it was not working for me...

I found out that ~/.clusterssh/config had an empty value for
extra_cluster_file when it should have $HOME/.clusterssh/clusters ... because
without it the clusters that had been migrated into ~/.clusterssh/clusters
would not be recognized.

Cheers,

 Hello Christophe,

Too late, it has been uploaded into experimental ;-)
I followed the procedure about library transitions and filed a bug
against release.d.o to ask whether I can upload into unstable.

I uploaded 1.0-2 into unstable with their approval.

yes, I'm sorry, I wrote my complaint before I realised that the texpower package

Maybe, I'm thinking to small nowadays, where you can have a terabyte storage

Therefore, for me the severity of this bug is somewhere between minor or

I have no time to review the installation script, but perhaps it

it does, the author. :-)

I'm the author of the osgeo livedvd build script (which just patches
the upstream svn's debian/ dir to keep up with the ubuntu ver used there
and a local tweak of the PostGIS db name).

I'm also one of the upstream maintainers of GpsDrive.

And at this point I guess I'm going to be the DebianGIS representative
to maintain the package too.

The upstream debian/ dir is much more modern than the DebianGIS svn one,
basically I think I need to wipe the slate clean and repackage the modern
version of the program (2.11+svn as seen in the OSGeo Live DVD script)
from scratch. But that's work.

stay tuned... first I'll work on getting mapnik2 and libgps20 support
working. As Johan mentioned, I have it working on Ubuntu 11.04 natty
for the livedvd, and locally I have it working on Squeeze. I'll post
my working 2.11svn packages for Squeeze ASAP. They've been working fine
on my laptop for many months.

Hello !

I have noticed that opening a macromedia flash page (Youtube),
produces Chromium tab window to fault with Aw, Snap.

Other tab windows are still displaying proper webpages.

I also noticed that when trying to quick-load the youtube page
and then clicking fast enough to open a second tab before the video loads
will keep the background sound/music playing properly, so I guess
it just has issues displaying the video.

Bug#673511: brcmsmacs: mode IBSS not implemented for Broadcom Wirless LAN controllers

2012-05-19 Thread Paul Menzel
Package: linux-2.6
Version: 3.2.17-1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Debian folks,

the `brcmsmac` [1] module does not support IBSS [2] needed to create
ad-hoc networks [3][4][5].

This prevents for example using shared WLAN connections from smart
phones. `/var/log/syslog` contains the following messages.

ieee80211 phy0: brcms_ops_bss_info_changed: qos enabled: false (implement)
ieee80211 phy0: brcmsmac: brcms_ops_bss_info_changed: disassociated
ieee80211 phy0: brcms_ops_bss_info_changed: arp filtering: enabled false,
count 1
wpa_supplicant[2209]: nl80211: Failed to set interface into IBSS mode
wpa_supplicant[2209]: Association request to the driver failed

 1. Would it be better to use the module `b43` by default which is
supposed to support all modes [3]?
 2. If support for IBSS in `brcmsmac` is implemented, could that be
backported to Linux 3.2?

For interested people, Broadcom’s proprietary `wl` driver supports IBSS
too.

The WLAN controller in this system is identified by `lspci` as

08:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n
Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01)

and Broadcom’s proprietary driver `wl` identifies the following.

wlan0: Broadcom BCM4727 802.11 Hybrid Wireless Controller 5.100.82.112

Thanks,

Paul

 Dear maintainer,

The Debian Qt/KDE team is planning to remove the KDE3 and Qt3 libraries from
Debian shortly after the Squeeze release. The transition phase to KDE4 and
 Qt4
will finish since both KDE and Nokia upstream don't maintain the old versions
 of those libraries anymore.

In order to make this move, all packages directly or indirectly depending on
the KDE3/Qt3 libraries have to either get ported to KDE4/Qt4 or eventually
 get
 removed from the Debian repositories.

Therefore, please take the time and:
 - contact your upstream (if existing) and ask about the state of a KDE4/Qt4
 port of your application
 - if there are no activities regarding porting, investigate whether there are
 suitable alternatives for your users
 - if there is a KDE4/Qt4 port that is not yet packaged, consider packaging it
 - if both the KDE3/Qt3 and the KDE4/Qt4 version already coexist in the Debian
archives, consider removing the KDE3/Qt3 version

2012-05-19 Thread James Bottomley
Package: netbase
Version: 5.0
Followup-For: Bug #672851

This bug is still present in testing

It means that anyone who does a dist-upgrade -t testing gets no
networking. This just happened to me with a co-lo box resulting in a
wasted hour investigating the source of an apparent boot failure.

This is a really serious problem. It may be fixed by ifupdown-0.7~rc3
but that's stuck in unstable for another 6 days according to

http://bjorn.haxx.se/debian/testing.pl?package=ifupdown

Having networking break on dist upgrade to testing for another six
days (at least) looks to be irresponsible to say the least. Please
revert the netbase update or accelerate ifupdown into testing.

and 3.4.0-0ubuntu1). I have not run into any single problem with it.

Now that evince 3.4 is in sid, I have tested the proposed profile
against this version and did not notice any problem (this is no
wonder, given Ubuntu is shipping it with evince 3.4, but I think it
was worth confirming).

I'd be more inclined to do that if you weren't engaging in a severity
fight and questioning my judgment as maintainer. Plus, seeing that at
least some of your problems are without a doubt PEBKAC I'm not willing
to give this a high priority now. You will have to wait a while for
support, I'm currently traveling.

The package in its default configuration works fine here. And even if
pastebin.com is chosen as default for you, it's easy enough to
override that. Read the manual. There's no RC.

yes I can, but you can too. I don't understand why ubuntu added a

Have you contacted upstream about it (f.e. opening a bug in their bug

Probably I didn't make myself clear before, let's fix it: I won't do
the work the ubuntu dev should have done forging that patch, so if you
want it done right, you have to ask upstream his opinion, if he'd
consider the right way to do (and once you've filed a bug, please

Bug#673420: kbdd: newer upstream release

Hi Bart,

On Fri, May 18, 2012 at 02:41:30PM +, Bart Martens wrote:
Have you noticed that there is a newer upstream release ?

Yes, Alexander uploaded a couple of tarballs with ver. 0.6.2.

Unfortunately, there are a few problems with them: kbdd-0.6.2.tar.gz is
missing a few necessary files and FTBFS, and kbdd-0.6.2.tar.bz2 is full
of cruft like broken symlinks, binaries, git history, unused source
files, etc., so that a repack is likely required.

Besides these misfortunate things, the code base of 0.6.2 is equivalent
to 0.6 with the patches that are currently in the Debian package.
Therefore, it seems resonable to stay with this version until the next
upstream release resolves the problems mentioned above.

This is just a heads-up for the 4.1+Debian4 upload of src:lsb that puts the

Any other package (or an admin) can now either dpkg-divert it [0] or provide a
/lib/lsb/init-functions.d/30-right-info-blocks that could put the info blocks

I would be open to accept patches (including the right info blocks code) to

Hi!

Hi Aron

It appears that the builds on armel and kfreebsd-i386 are not
successful, and it looks to be caused by insufficient memory on the
machine. Is that correct? Can you try to figure the reason out?

On armel, the issue seems to be caused by doxygen. presage's build
system invokes doxygen during the build to generate the source code
documentation.

The failure appears to be caused by a memory corruption problem in doxygen:

*** glibc detected *** doxygen: double free or corruption (!prev):
0x00ce9bb8 ***

On kfreebsd-i386, it seems that build daemon terminates the build after
a timeout occurs:

Build killed with signal TERM after 150 minutes of inactivity

The log doesn't show any problems with the build... it looks like the
build just takes a long time and the build daemon terminates it.

I can't reproduce the bug, downgrading the severity.

Unfortunately it was too late for the BTS→release.debian.org RC bugs

this run (I checked through a dry run right before 10:00Z), so I let the
removal happen as initially announced.

qgo has just been removed from the archive, apparently because of the
upcoming removal of Qt3. Support for Qt4 is in unstable, and I intend

Bug#673521: Wheezy: aptitude update fails

2012-05-19 Thread T Elcor
Package: aptitude
Version: 0.6.7-1

Started to have problems several day ago running aptitude update in wheezy. I
can access the following URLs from the browser without any problems, so it
doesn't look like an access problem to me:
  http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/wheezy/main/
  http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dists/wheezy/non-free/

When running aptitude update several times, the reported IPs change (for
example, IP: 128.61.240.89 80) but the error persists.

Any ideas? Thanks

how we could get appmenu-gtk into Debian.
To sum it up, to get this into Debian, the ubuntu patches need be either
carried in the gtk sources or else we will have to wait until it gets
included upstream.

To test it, I pulled in the patches and built myself. Works here on a
KDE environment with GTK apps rendering their menu.

supposed to support all modes [3]?
  2. If support for IBSS in `brcmsmac` is implemented, could that be
 backported to Linux 3.2?

What is exact model of your adapter (lspci -nn)?
I have adapter 14e4:4727 model in my laptop, that is only supported by brcmsmac.

Bug#673522: unshare NEWNET + using sockets from before: unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free. Usage count = 2

2012-05-19 Thread Stefan Bühler
Package: linux-image-3.2.0-2-amd64
Version: 3.2.16-1

Hi,

CLONE_NEWNET is still buggy (i found random reports with the same error message
from 2010).

uname: Linux * 3.2.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Mon Apr 30 05:20:23 UTC 2012 x86_64
GNU/Linux

See the attached example.
I don't think it matters much how the socket is used: just create the socket
before the unshare and use it somehow - listen() after unshare() triggered it
too.

The kernel starts spamming the message after the program is terminated.

Also the port is not reachable from the outside - although i admit i couldn't
find docs mentioning this is supported, but it really should be.
(Given that struct net is part of struct sock(common) this shouldn't be hard)

I could reproduce it in virtualbox with rescue mode from
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/wheezy_di_alpha1/amd64/iso-cd/debian-wheezy-DI-a1-amd64-netinst.iso
- when i started it a second time the process would even hang for some time
(not killable).

That one is also involved in the mysql transition. Apparently, nothing

migrate when the mysql transition gets into shape.

Bug#673490: serious doubts about /lib/udev/bridge-network-interface

2012-05-19 Thread Santiago Garcia Mantinan
Hi!

Last upload was trying to get in sync with Ubuntu, I didn't see any problems
with that, but let's see your concerns...

For a start, directly calling /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/vlan is a huge
 layering violation.
We've been calling /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/vlan for a long time, it is how
we setup the vlan ports of a bridge automatically:

bridge-utils (0.9.6-4) unstable; urgency=low

  * Add support for autoconfiguring VLAN interfaces, idea and patch
from Paul Slootman. Closes #189386.

 -- Santiago Garcia Mantinan ma...@debian.org Thu, 8 May 2003 20:21:14 +0200

Anyway, nowadays ifupdown directly manages vlans and the vconfig
 package is deprecated.

Ok, it's been 9 years since we introduced that, maybe we can do it some
other way, now, any pointer on this?

I am quite concerned that you decided that a complex script should be
called for every auto interface which appears in the system: this
could have a serious impact on systems with many interfaces (I have
firewalls with over hundreds of interfaces configured!).

I suppose you are talking about the udev called bridge-network-interface.sh
script. Well, this is one of the parts inherited from Ubuntu, I can see your
concerns here and I agree that on some scenarios this might cause trouble,
I'm wondering if you did test this to see if it really impacted that much on
those scenarios :-?

I cannot test it on one of those real scenarios, but I just run...
INTERFACE=br0 /lib/udev/bridge-network-interface 1000 times on my old amd
Athlon 64@1.8Ghz and it took 19 seconds.

I also doubt that this is generally a good idea, even if it were not
causing scalability problems, because interfaces marked auto should
only be configured at boot time.

Well, the idea behind this is not bringing up interfaces marked auto, for
that we already have allow-hotplug, but adding interfaces to existing
bridges that have that interface specified as a bridge port.

I can agree however that sometimes having all this done automatically can be
the not wanted action, but I like the posibility that is added with this for
hotpluging stuff to bridges. I'm open to all kind of ideas on how to solve
this posible problems.

For example, we can add /etc/default/bridge-utils and specify there some
variable controlling all this behaviour, I don't know what would be wanted
here, we can implement whatever you feel better there, from a HOTPLUG=false
default (not my favourite) to a HOTPLUG=true (I'd prefer this one) ranging
to some kind of specification of the bridges that can be hotpluged
interfaces into.

What do you think?

Last but not least, nowadays iproute is able to create bridges by
itself, so we should investigate if brctl is still needed.

I'll have to check that, iproute is not known for the documentation included
on the package itself, but I doubt it provides everything brctl does. I'm
thinking on a brctl showstp br0 for example.

Well, sorry has worried you, let's see how we can make this less worrying.

Hoping to hear back from you.

Regards.

Bug#673525: mvn-debian script fails when more than one binary package is defined

2012-05-19 Thread Mattias Ellert
Package: maven-debian-helper
Version: 1.5.1
Severity: normal

The mvn-debian script fails when more than one binary package is defined
in debian/control. The reason is the following line:

  JAR_PACKAGE=$(dh_listpackages | awk '{ print $1 }')

Which should be:

  JAR_PACKAGE=$(dh_listpackages | head -1)

as in the other maven helper scripts.

I suspect that either 0ad should have a stricter dependency on 0ad-data

breakages.

Bug#673528: mysql-5.5: source tarball contains Docs/mysql.info which is not DFSG

2012-05-19 Thread Nicholas Bamber

Source: mysql-5.5
Version: 5.5.23-2
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 2.1

Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
debian/rules contains a get-orig-source rule that downloads the tarball
and strips out the Docs directory. Amongst other things the Docs
directory contains an mysql.info file (which is non-DFSG) and a missing
upstream ChangeLog file (which is DFSG compliant). The rule is not
particularly well documented and as far as I can see there is nothing in the
Debian packaging to say that the upstream tarball had been modified to
make it DFSG compliant.

Now it seems that at some point I directly downloaded from upstream
and that
it is this tarball that has been uploaded with 5.5.23-2. Also there is a
debian/watch file which is broken. The debian/rules rules hard codes the
chosen

mirror.
One possible solution would be as follows:
1.) Fix the watch file to strip out Docs/mysql.info and use a number of
working mirrors.
2.) Rewrite the get-orig-source rule to use uscan.
3.) Install the upstream changelog and remove the associated lintian
overrides

4.) Upload a version 5.5.23+dfsg-1.

Bug#673529: slrn: signal SIGQUIT causes jnewsrc changes to be lost

2012-05-19 Thread anonymous coward
Package: slrn
Version: 1.0.0~pre18-1.1
Severity: normal

Launching after previously sending a SIGQUIT reports the following:

  Connected to host. Posting ok.
  Checking news ...

  * The autosave file of /home/user/.jnewsrc is newer than the file itself.

Do you want to restore your newsrc from the autosave version? [Y]es, No

This means slrn is not properly saving the .jnewsrc in response to:

  pkill -SIGQUIT slrn

Furthermore, there is no workaround. Perhaps this reflects a second
bug. The following should theoretically automate an interactive
quit when slrn is running within a GNU screen terminal:

  screen -S my_session -p $(w -hus user | grep slrn | awk '{print $3}' | cut
-d. -f2) -X stuff qy

This fails because slrn prompts for confirmation (in response to the
q), but then ignores the y that was sent immediately after the q.

         1. Debian-style, with a pool (or similar) and a dists directory
         2. Flat-style, with just one directory

I would like to see the flat-style repository documented too, since
some of the derivatives in the Debian derivatives census use it and I
would like to lint their apt repositories.

I added (and others edited formatting a bit)

= Flat Repository Format =

A flat repository does not use the {{{dists}}} hierarchy of directories,
and instead places meta index and indices directly into the archive root
(or some part below it) In sources.list syntax, a flat repository is specified
like this:

{{{

Where {{{uri}}} specifies the archive root, and {{{directory}}} specifies the
position of the meta index and the indices relative to the archive root. In
Flat repositories, the following indices are supported:

 * Packages (under the location {{{directory/Packages}}})
 * Sources (under the location {{{directory/Sources}}})

!InRelease, Release, Release.gpg meta-information are supported as well. Diffs,
Translations, and Contents indices are not defined for that repository format.
Indices may be compressed just like in the standard Debian repository format.

Bug#673534: reportbug: supplying an e-mail address should be optional, not required

2012-05-19 Thread anonymous coward
Package: reportbug
Version: 4.12.6
Severity: wishlist

It's foolish to require a bug submitter to supply an email address.
One who submits a bug report may or may not be interested in tracking
the bug via email. And submitters may (quite rightly) be concerned
about disclosure of their email address.

An attempt at circumventing the problem is to use a bogus address like
n...@reply.net. However, the malconfigured mail server responds
inappropriately:

  May 19 05:32:49 local postfix/smtp[22384]: certificate verification
  failed for bugs-master.debian.org[140.211.15.34]:25: untrusted
  issuer /C=NA/ST=NA/L=Ankh Morpork/O=Debian SMTP/OU=Debian SMTP
  CA/CN=Debian SMTP CA/emailAddress=hostmas...@puppet.debian.org

and after further attempts the reply becomes:

  May 19 11:32:42 local postfix/smtp[2278]: C11812005FD:
  to=sub...@bugs.debian.org,
  relay=bugs-master.debian.org[140.211.15.34]:25, delay=7328,
  delays=7307/0.33/21/0, dsn=4.0.0, status=deferred (host
bugs-master.debian.org[140.211.15.34] refused to talk to me: 421
busoni.debian.org: Too much load; please try again later)

An ugly circumvention that works is to supply a genuine email address
that leads back to a server that blackholes the replies. This is a
poor option to be left with though, because someone else following the
bug might attempt to compose a private message to the submitter. Such
a message would be blackholed, and both the sender and recipient are
unaware.

The reportbug package may not have control over the malconfigured mail
server, but it need not force entry of an email address. An email

Bug#673535: override: libqpid-ruby1.8: oldlibs/extra

2012-05-19 Thread Cajus Pollmeier

Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

Hi!

The package ruby-qpid was recently accepted in main. The source
package also builds the transitional package libqpid-ruby1.8 which was
reported as an override disparity.

libqpid-ruby1.8_0.16-1_amd64.deb: package says section is oldlibs,
override says ruby.

Since libqpid-ruby is a transitional package it should have section
oldlibs and priority extra as stated by the package.

I'm not sure if this needs to be done for the other architectures, too.

Thanks for your work!

Cheers,
Cajus

Bug#672142: transition: allegro4.4

2012-05-19 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Tobias Hansen tobias@gmx.de (19/05/2012):
I filed a sponsorship request with all the necessary information and
 link to the source package:

 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=673345

Despite 4fa98a44.8050...@gmx.de, I see a liballeggl4.4-dev package
there, which isn't even mentioned in the changelog. Tiny overlook?

(Introducing a new package with that upload would mean going through
NEW. Not a big deal, but that means we need to poke ftpmasters to get
that processed. And I think the Provides: liballegro4-dev you're adding
will be sufficient for now anyway?)

Mraw,
KiBi.

Bug#663284: transition: libcommoncpp2 libccaudio2 libccrtp libzrtpcpp

2012-05-19 Thread Cyril Brulebois
block 663284 by 673530
thanks

Cyril Brulebois k...@debian.org (17/05/2012):
I'm not sure whether I should understand the upload is on its way to
unstable, or whether you're on the road and unable to peform the upload.
 At least I don't see a new libcommoncpp2 in queued's log.

Thanks for letting us know either way.

Apparently the upload reached unstable now. :)

Blocking the transition bug with libcommoncpp2's FTBFS on kfreebsd-*.

Mraw,
KiBi.
