This bug appears to be filed against a version that does not exist in
debian. The current latest version in sid is 0.82.7.1. I was unable to
reproduce the bug using this version, so the problem may be specific

Here's a testcase.
In sid it works fine, but if I use the jars provided in testing it
fails.
Important: the pdf file is "protected" , so it's necesary bouncycastle
to decrpyt it. Normal pdf files don't fail because they don't need
bouncycastle.

As above, /etc/default/busybox-syslogd is also not documented.
I had to read /etc/init.d/busybox-syslogd to discover that
/etc/default/syslogd was the wrong file.
In passing, busybox-syslogd fails to install if sysklogd has not
been purged.
